Acquisition Debt & Equity for Waterfront Land Assemblage with Marina

Assignment

A Miami based developer/family office engaged our firm to provide the capital required to assemble and entitle a waterfront development which includes a marina. The project would take years to entitle, and required a capital stack – including debt and equity – which would require vision to match that of the developer.

Approach

FinanceMiami assisted in structuring the transaction, leveraging relationships with a local lender and forming a new joint venture with an international equity source.

Results

We were able to assist the developer in providing the financing for acquiring the and entitling the site. The financing was secured, providing the capital needed to advance the project, which will feature a mixed use development and preserving the existing marina.
